This process I have tested using the free LibreOffice replacement for MS Office or it was indicated that MS Office would work as well. Never had a problem with any other App on my Mac that Syncs to the cloud. Just an excuse for them to keep them creeps around the office. Don't need no Snotty, Smelly, Unkempt Window IT guy to maintain my Systems.
